Haney Baseball Camp *Photo Gallery*
The annual Haney Baseball Camp was again in full swing in both Carbon and Emery counties for ages seven through 14. The camp was held on June 11-12 and 18-19, beginning in Price at the USUE Baseball field from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. After a short break, the camp was at it again from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., held in Castle Dale at the Emery High School Armory.

Jayden Mead, Project Manager from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Price Field Office, gave a screen presentation on the San Rafael Swell Draft Travel Management Plan on Wednesday, June 26 at the Emery County Administration Building in Castle Dale. Mead introduced the presentation by stating that The Travel Management Plan purpose is to clearly designate, inventory and evaluate routes as open, limited, or closed to public OHV use and adopt an updated, implemented plan.

Henry Falon Jr. presented information online about the Canal Commons Project in Green River to the Emery County Business Chamber (ECBC) Housing Committee at their June 24 meeting. He stated that it is an income-friendly USDA housing program in Green River. They are building a subdivision with homes for sale. Falon stated that the land was owned by the city, but now belongs to the contractors. The Southeastern Regional Development Agency (SERDA) is working with this group to help make affordable housing.
