Prince William and Kate Middleton have teamed up with American rapper Snoop Dogg to deliver a heartfelt message of support for Team Great Britain. 

The video, posted on their X account, marks a rare joint appearance from the royal couple, who have kept a low profile this summer.

William, now sporting a bold new beard, and Kate, dressed casually in a white shirt with black stripes, praised the athletes for their dedication and achievements. “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to team GB!” Kate said, with William adding, “You’ve been an inspiration to us all.”

The inclusion of Snoop Dogg, who has been covering the Summer Games for NBC, adds an unexpected celebrity flair to the message. 

The royal couple's post also featured emojis of a British flag and a gold medal, emphasizing their pride in the team’s performance.

While there was speculation about a possible surprise appearance by the royals at the Games, their absence was noted.

Kate’s ongoing cancer treatment and the family’s preference for privacy have been cited as reasons for their limited public engagements. 

Their children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—did not appear in the video, which was nevertheless warmly received by fans and athletes alike.

The video comes as part of a broader tradition of royal support for British athletes. This year, while the couple cheered from afar, other British and international royal figures have made appearances in Paris, underscoring the global nature of the Olympic spirit.
