Purchase of Audrain Community Hospital gives community local ownership and control
AUDRAIN COUNTY — A community effort of buying the old Audrain County hospital that has been closed since March 2022 made progress Friday. SUNRISE BEACH, Mo. — An owner of Chic's N Dix HonkyTonk & Saloon unexpectedly passed away at the establishment Wednesday afternoon. Sunrise Beach police officers responded to a medical call at 3:33 p.m., July 24, and found 56-year-old Rick Griffin unconscious inside the building. Unfortunately, he died on scene.
