This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department crime reports. Saturday night, Officers observed a black SUV southbound on South Osage Avenue that had failed to stop at a stop sign at West Broadway Boulevard. As Officers caught up to the vehicle, it pulled off to the side of the road and came to a stop, failing to signal. The vehicle parked near West 12 Street and South Osage Avenue. The driver was impaired by drugs. Leandrea Regina Chandler, 37, of Knob Noster, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs).

SEDALIA CITY EMPLOYEES COULD FACE 11% INCREASE IN INSURANCE PREMIUMS
The City of Sedalia could ask their employees to pay more for their families’ health insurance. Sedalia’s city council reviewed insurance costs at their meeting Sept. 23, when they received a presentation from IMA Financial Group about the city’s current plan. City administrator Kelvin Shaw says Sedalia is about to complete its first year of investing in a self-funded plan, rather than buying their insurance from a carrier.
