A well-known local fashion store is changing hands.

Jane Heimbecker, owner of Le Femme Boutique in Emmaus, has decided to retire.

“Retirement has been on my mind for some time” said Heimbecker in a release. “I was prepared to sell everything off and close up shop until Karen Buck walked into the boutique for her daughter’s 16th birthday just a few weeks ago”.

According to Heimbecker, a conversation ensued and a few short weeks later, Buck agreed to purchase the business and is taking over Le Femme Boutique as the new owner.

Six months ago, Heimbecker said Le Femme Boutique moved to Emmaus at the Triangle, after having store fronts in two others places throughout the Lehigh Valley in the last four years.

Buck said she has many ideas for Le Femme Boutique to continue to serve as the go-to spot for prom, bridal, quinceanera, and formal event attire.

“I’m thrilled to be able to continue the legacy that Jane has created and will follow the foundation that has been built”, stated Karen when asked about this new opportunity.
