DALLAS — It was Fourth of July weekend, one year ago, and we were all introduced to the viral "not real" Dallas plane woman. The incident happened on July 3, 2023, though Tiffany Gomas was not identified as the woman in the viral video until nearly a month later in a video she posted apologizing for her actions. Gomas was on an American Airlines plane that was heading from DFW Airport to Orlando. The plane was still at DFW Airport when the incident unfolded.

Sulphur Springs Emergency Sirens Will Be Tested July 3
July 3, 2024 – Emergency sirens will be tested in Sulphur Springs at noon today by the Sulphur Springs Emergency Management Office. The test is to gauge the reliability of the emergency warning system and is conducted to find any potential flaws in the system so they can be corrected prior to a real emergency situation.
