Jamestown Public Schools (JPS) and Erie II Chautauqua Cattaraugus Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES) have initiated a new partnership.
BOCES' Bloom Program will be located at the Innovation Center in R.R. Rogers School.
The Jamestown Board of Education has approved this initiative, which is expected to start this fall.
The Bloom Program is designed to provide specialized instruction and therapies for students struggling with severe mental health and behavioral issues.
BOCES will pay JPS an annual lease payment of $69,804.
Patrick Langworthy, who has previously worked with JPS, will step into the role of the Special Education Principal for the program.
