July Fourth weekend celebrations begin in Enfield

ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – Fourth of July celebrations will continue all weekend long in Enfield, Connecticut. Hundreds of people gathered for the first day of the 39th annual event on Friday.

The three-day festivities will occur rain or shine. Many say they came to watch the entertainment, while others say they were just there for a good time.

“Here to enjoy the music, relax, and have a really good Fourth of July weekend,” expressed Emily Januszewski of Enfield, “Last year I went with a couple of girls, we got some beer and stuff, and it was really fun.”

Those interested in viewing the Enfield fireworks display can do so Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
