The crash involved one tractor-trailer striking the rear end of another, according to the Massachusetts State Police. While no injuries have been reported, the Longmeadow Deputy Fire Captain ordered the roadway to be shut down due to a fuel spill resulting from the collision.

Authorities from both states, including the Enfield Police, set up advisories and detours to manage the traffic impact. The road has since reopened.
