    Enfield High School senior dies in Massachusetts crash

    ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — The Enfield community is mourning the passing of a 17-year-old student who died after a crash in Massachusetts over the weekend.

    On Thursday, Enfield High School Principal Erin E. Clark said Megan Davis was a senior who was “beloved by her classmates and teachers.”

    “Her teachers described her as kind and friendly and as someone who could light up a room with her infectious smile and playful personality,” Clark said in a statement. “She was described as inquisitive, curious and enthusiastic.”

    The school is encouraging students and families to reach out for support and utilize resources available for grieving students from noon to 3 p.m. at the J.F.K. Middle School library.

    “School counselors, social workers, and staff from Enfield Youth Services will continue to be available to meet with individual students or groups of students, as needed and should contact our school counseling office or school administration for assistance,” Clark said.

    Meriden man dies after motorcycle, pickup collide

    The fatal collision happened around 2 p.m. on Sunday in Blandford. Not much information has been released as of Thursday.

    The crash investigation is being conducted by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office and the Chester-Blandford Police Department.
