Hartford Defeated by Loudoun 3-0
Hartford was unable to stop a strong attacking performance from Loudoun United on their home field tonight, losing 3-0 at Segra Field in Virginia. There was little attacking action through the first 20 minutes of tonight’s match, with only three total shots taken and none that challenged either goalkeeper. The home side turned the pace of the match up a notch in the 25th minute, breaking through to score a goal off the foot of Wesley Leggett. Florian Valot played a cross into the box that deflected off of Thomas Vancaeyezeele and fell to Legget, who played it off his chest and struck his left-footed shot to the bottom right corner to give Loudoun the 1-0 lead.
The Empire Dominate the Shred
It was a windy, overcast day in Hartford, Connecticut when the Salt Lake Shred took on the New York Empire. The Shred last faced the Empire in the 2023 Championship final and were excited to have another go at the three-time champs. Unfortunately, it proved to be a rough rematch for the Shred.
