The Huntingburg Public Library is making an urgent last-minute call to organizations that may have materials stored in the library’s basement. Due to the library’s upcoming renovation starting Aug. 1, all materials, including files, filing cabinets, books, records, or any other items owned or maintained by local organizations and stored in the basement, must be removed immediately.

BROWNSTOWN, Ind. – The 2024 Jackson County Fair got underway Sunday evening in Brownstown and continues today, Monday, July 22, through this Saturday, July 27. One of the initial events was choosing the Jackson County Fair Queen Court on Sunday evening. Carly Kaiser was selected as the 2024 Jackson County Fair Queen. The first Runner Up was Lily Stogdill, and the second Runner Up went to Camryn Thompson. The honor of Miss Congeniality was bestowed upon Erin Lee.
