Montreat hires Moore as new Head Women’s Basketball Coach
Montreat Athletics announced the hiring of Jamie Moore as head coach for the women’s basketball program earlier this month. Moore spent time at five different girls high school programs in the state of Texas, most recently Italy High School for the 2021-22 school year. The Italy, Texas native also led teams at Crane High School, New Braunfels High School, Seguin High School and Clifton High School since 2016-17. During the 2020-21 season at Crane, Moore tallied a 19-8 (9-1) record, helping the team to a district championship and picking up District 5-AAA Coach of the Year honors.
