Amy Robach 's ex-husband,Andrew Shue, made rare comments about his personal life during an appearance on the Melrose Place rewatch podcast, Still the Place .
"I'm doing very well. I am very happy, my kids are all great, and I'm working on a project," the 57-year-old actor shared nearly an hour into the latest episode of the podcast. "So, beyond Cafe Media, I have a project that's very exciting that I think has the potential to be the basis for bringing our country together."
Shue went on to share that he is "creating citizen assemblies, where citizens come together from all different backgrounds, political persuasions and work to create model legislation." He called it a "structured process of articulating the people's will, which has never been done before."
The year-long process, Shue added, was rolled out last month in New Hampshire, bringing citizens and elected officials for a productive discussion on legislation. He's also rolled out a pilot program in Kentucky dubbed "Meeting of America," to which he likens to a town hall.
Shue, of course, is dating attorneyMarilee Fiebig, the ex-wife of Robach's boyfriend, T.J. Holmes . The high-profile divorces came after the former GMA3 co-anchors made headlines when their romance was publicly uncovered in November 2022 .At the time, Holmes, 46, and Robach, 51,were each married to their respective partners.
Shue and Fiebig discreetly started dating soon after -- first revealed in December 2023 -- and they were spotted out together for the first time at JFK Airport in January of this year. The relationship's been going strong ever since. So much so, they were spotted sharing a kiss in Manhattan nearly two months ago.
"Initially, they had no interest in each other, but bonded over the trauma from their respective breakups," a source told ET at the time.
"Andrew and Marilee are taking things slow in their new romance, and trying to lay low in the midst of their very public breakups. The two find solace in one another, and have enjoyed getting to know each other away from the noise," the source explained.
Robach and Shue finalized their divorce in March 2023, while Holmes settled his divorce from Fiebig in October 2023.
Robach shares two adult daughters -- Ava and Annie -- from her first marriage. Holmes shares 11-year-old daughter, Sabine, with Fiebig. He also shares daughter, Brianna, and son, Jaiden, from his first marriage to Amy Ferson.
