For DC Studios, the future is about to change forever. We’re within a year of the launch of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s rebooted cinematic DC Universe. Before Gunn's Superman starring David Corenswet flies onto silver screens next summer, however, a multitude of other DC feature projects are in the process of being released either in theaters or on streaming and DVDs. Upcoming features include one-shot animated movies and documentaries, as well as standalone live-action movies that fall into the category of "Elseworlds," which are projects that fall outside of the main DCU — Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, for example, is unlikely to appear alongside Corenswet's Superman.

Hollywood video game actors go on strike over AI concerns after more than a year of negotiations
SAG-AFTRA members who work on video games have voted to go on strike one year after their counterparts in TV and film began a work stoppage that lasted four months. The decision follows more than a year and a half of negotiations — with companies including Activision Productions Inc., Disney Character Voices Inc., and Electronic Arts Productions Inc. — primarily over the use of artificial intelligence, which was also a sticking point in last year's Hollywood strike, as performers wanted protections from possible job losses.

Former Jeopardy contestant Winston Nguyen has been arrested and charged with soliciting sexually explicit images of children, Entertainment Weekly can confirm.
