Savannah resident found safe after TBI Silver Alert
A Savannah man who was the subject of a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation “Silver Alert” was found safe Thursday morning, authorities said. Charlie Wilkerson Jr., 84, was discovered around 10 a.m. in a ravine off Pickwick Street near Cherry Street in the vicinity of an automated bagged ice business, said Savannah Police Chief Michael Pitts.

Jackson City Council will have two special-called meetings before the end of the month. That’s because they’ve already had their monthly meeting for June and still haven’t had the first reading of their annual budget, which is required to be approved and ratified by Sunday, June 30.

SH Anglers Perform Community Service
We all know the Scotts Hill Student Anglers can definitely fish. You can see that by our results throughout the years. But, you may not know that we have a project each year where we give back to the community. This year we participated in the Clean Earth Challenge where young adults compete in cleaning up our nation’s waterways. Henderson County Softball Players Compete in All-Star Game
West Tennesee made their selections for the softball all-star game that took place last Thursday, May 30th. There were a few players that were named to the all-star team that are from Henderson County. Two players from Lexington High School and a player from Scotts Hill High School were selected to be all-stars. Shay Hollingsworth and Kailyn Melton were the two Lexington.
