Moms for Liberty, an apparently mis-named group who seem to advocate less liberty by banning books, has gotten three of the six positions on a Department of Education workgroup that met Thursday in Tallahassee to redevelop an online training program for school librarians and media specialists following a 2023 state law focused on book challenges.

The group have been vocal supporters of Ron DeSantis (Florida's self appointed arbiter of education, apparently), although recently, Florida Senate Republicans on Thursday refused to confirm the Moms for Liberty co-founder Tina Descovich to serve on an ethics commission, breaking stride with the usual rubber-stamped approval of DeSantis' requests.

Another Moms for Liberty co-founders, Bridget Ziegler, along with her husband Christian, (GOP Chairman in Florida), was embroiled in a sex scandal that went against everything the right-wing values Moms for Liberty says it stands for.

Just the people you want telling your kids what books are "good" and "ethical" to read.

There are no banned books. You can still buy them or borrow them from the library. The bill is about age appropriate material in schools.

This HOs-For-Liberty group should stick to being comfort girls for Domestic Terrorist groups like the Proud Boyz and having group sex parties amongst themselves!
