4 tornadoes now confirmed in WNY
DARIEN CENTER, N.Y. — The National Weather Service confirmed a fourth tornado observed in Western New York on Wednesday. The latest confirmation is in West Falls in Erie County. An EF-1 tornado was confirmed by the NWS Storm Survey. Officials said maximum wind speeds were recorded at 110 mph. The path of the tornado was 1.5 miles with a width of 400 yards.

One Western New York town is in a state of emergency after the remnants of Hurricane Beryl brought strong winds that ripped through homes, farms and roads. Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz declared the Town of Eden, located about a half hour south of Buffalo, is under a State of Emergency due to storm damage.

Eden residents in shock after tornado touches down
EDEN, N.Y. — The Town of Eden is unrecognizable Wednesday night with entire trees blocking streets, RVs flipped over, and just debris remaining where homes once stood. The town took a direct hit from the remnants of Hurricane Beryl, as the National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado touched down in Eden just before 1 p.m. Wednesday, bringing 85 mile per hour winds as it spanned almost a mile.
