4 tornadoes now confirmed in WNY
DARIEN CENTER, N.Y. — The National Weather Service confirmed a fourth tornado observed in Western New York on Wednesday. The latest confirmation is in West Falls in Erie County. An EF-1 tornado was confirmed by the NWS Storm Survey. Officials said maximum wind speeds were recorded at 110 mph. The path of the tornado was 1.5 miles with a width of 400 yards.

The town took a direct hit from the remnants of Hurricane Beryl, as the National Weather Service confirmed an EF-0 tornado touched down in Eden just before 1 p.m. Wednesday, bringing 85 mile per hour winds as it spanned almost a mile.
