2 brothers and their uncle sentenced to prison for 2023 beating
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Three people were sentenced to prison following a violent attack in the Broadway-Bailey neighborhood in 2023. According to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office, brothers Amonti Atkins, 24, and Amari Atkins, 28, both of Buffalo, pleaded guilty to attempted murder, assault, and gang assault. They were both sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison and five years of post-release supervision.
