Erik Brady: Mark Griffis ‘Emerges' in the First Family of Buffalo Sculpture
FORT ERIE, Ont. — Mark Griffis is a Buffalo expat. He didn't get far, though. "I like to say I live in the best suburb of Buffalo," he says. He means Fort Erie, where Mark and his wife, Patty, live in a rambling waterfront home that's been in the Griffis family for more than 100 years. And what a family it is. Let's call them the First Family of Buffalo Sculpture.
