ERIE, PA (WJET)– The Erie SeaWolves secured their second win in a row over the Somerset Patriots on Friday.

Erie’s Troy Melton threw for five innings. He let up one run and struck out six batters in the process.

The big play of the night came from Eliezer Alfonzo.

In the bottom of the first inning, Alfonzo hit a grand slam to right field. The hit put Erie up 4-0.

The SeaWolves dominated the Patriots with a final score of 7-1.

The same teams will play on Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans to arrive at UPMC Park will get a free AI SeaWolves jersey.
