Erie police are investigating a weekend shooting that sent a 20-year-old man to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm.

The shooting was reported shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday, when police were sent to the 400 block of East 24th Street on reports of shots fired. The victim told police he was at a dice game in the area when he was shot, Deputy Chief Rick Lorah said Tuesday.

The man told police he did not know who shot him, Lorah said.

A vehicle was also struck several times by gunfire in the incident, he said.

Police had no suspects in the shooting Tuesday.
