    Macaulay Culkin's 'Home Alone' movie tour making an Erie stop. What to know

    It's almost impossible to get through the Christmas season without seeing " Home Alone " come across your TV screen. This year, fans can watch it on the silver screen at the Warner Theatre with the movie's star, Macaulay Culkin.

    Announced Friday by Erie Events , Culkin, 44, who is well known for his hit role as Kevin McCallister in the "Home Alone" series, is bringing his tour “ Home Alone: A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin ” to Erie on Dec. 1.

    This event will begin with a screening of the original "Home Alone" film followed by a moderated interview and audience Q&A with Culkin.

    Fans will get the opportunity to hear behind-the-scenes moments with Culkin along with his experiences and favorite memories from filming.

    About the 'Home Alone' tour

    This tour was first announced Friday on the " Today" show. The tour kicks off on Nov. 30 in Buffalo, New York, and will continue until Dec. 15 in Medford, Massachusetts. Erie will be the second stop on the tour.

    Erie will be one of the 13 stops on the tour. Other notable cities include Reading; Louisville, Kentucky; and Akron, Ohio.

    Tickets go on sale next week

    Tickets will be available on the Erie Events website starting Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. You can also purchase tickets on the Home Alone tour website.

    VIP tickets will be on sale for $250 and will include a personal post-show photo with Culkin.

    General ticket prices have yet to be announced, but will be available once sold on erieevents.com . You can also get tickets on Sept. 13 by calling the Erie Events box office at 814-452-4857.
