CHP issues Ebony Alert for missing 12-year-old girl who may be headed to Sacramento area
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Officials are asking for help in finding a missing 12-year-old girl who may be headed to the Sacramento area. The California Highway Patrol issued an Ebony Alert for Tiana Carter, who was last seen Tuesday around 3:30 a.m. in Ventura County at Harper Drive and Santa Margarita Road. Officers believe she could be traveling to Northern California in an unknown vehicle.
Northern California forecast: Scorching temperatures expected Tuesday, when relief could happen
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Tuesday is forecast to be an even hotter day for Northern California than Monday was. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said downtown Sacramento hit 107 degrees on Monday. High temperatures on Tuesday will peak from the 102-110-degree range, with downtown Sacramento expected to reach 109 degrees. The average for this time of year is 95 degrees.
