One such tag team was the Motor City Machine Guns. Stupak Memorial Fund gathered to make a $25,000 donation to The Walton Blesch Stadium Legacy Foundation. Patient reunites with lifesavers in Alpha after a year
ALPHA, Mich. (WLUC) - Emergency personnel lined the Anderson Ball Field in Alpha for a surprise reunion with a patient on Saturday. On July 22 of last year, Steven Gorman fell from a ladder while tackling a hornet’s nest at a relative’s home in Crystal Falls. Steven’s wife, Amy Gorman, planned the surprise to celebrate his miraculous recovery.

Warmer air from the west will move in creating instability and allow for rain chances Monday afternoon and some could see thundershowers so plan accordingly. Saturday in the Park concert raises money for Iron Mountain city park
IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WLUC) - Iron Mountain’s Saturday in the Park Music Festival begins Friday. Five bands will play at the Iron Mountain City Park through the night and on Saturday. The event raises money for park improvements. Organizer Dale Alessandrini said the community shows up for the park.
Iron Mountain Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament breaks record
IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich. (WLUC) - Almost a dozen basketball courts filled Carpenter Avenue in Iron Mountain Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, competitors from across the Midwest will fight to be the Iron Mountain Gus Macker Champion. 275 teams have registered, the highest number in the Iron Mountain tournament since 2021.
