ARLINGTON, Texas -- The New Orleans Saints ' offense hasn't missed a beat under new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, especially running back Alvin Kamara , who scored four touchdowns Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys .

It was the most touchdowns Kamara has scored in a game since a six-touchdown game against the Minnesota Vikings in 2020.

Kamara opened the scoring with a five-yard TD rush midway through the first quarter, and he added a 57-yard score off a screen pass from Derek Carr that put the Saints up 21-6 midway through the second.

A 12-yard touchdown run by Kamara made it 28-13 late in the first half, and he added 7-yard run to make it 41-19 late in the third.

Rashid Shaheed may have had the most spectacular TD when hooked up with Carr on a 70-yard score late in the first. Shaheed had clear separation from the start of his route. Carr's pass went 50 yards in the air -- the deepest passing touchdown allowed by the Cowboys since a 2012 game against Washington -- with Shaheed easily going into the end zone to put New Orleans up 14-3.

Shaheed's touchdown catch was the longest the Cowboys have allowed since a 73-yarder by Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf in Week 13 last year.

The Saints starting offense has now scored on 16 straight possessions to start the season and tied a franchise record with 35 points in the first half.
