GLENDALE, Ariz. -- If Marvin Harrison Jr .'s first NFL touchdown wasn't impressive enough, the second -- which took place on his next target -- was equally remarkable in the first quarter.

Two minutes and 12 seconds after Harrison made a difficult catch in the back of the end zone, getting both feet in bounds to give the Cardinals a 7-0 lead over the Los Angeles Rams with 11:03 left in the first quarter, he scored on a 60-yard bomb from quarterback Kyler Murray to give Arizona a 14-0 lead with 8:47 remaining in the quarter.

Harrison's first touchdown came on second-and-8 from the Rams 23-yard line. He was playing inside the numbers on the short side of the field, lined up across from Rams cornerback Tre'Davious White , who was playing off coverage. Harrison got a step on White around the 5-yard line and Murray threw a perfectly placed pass that Harrison hauled in near his helmet with White draped all over him.

The second one was another highlight reel.

Starting out wide to the left of Murray, just outside the numbers, with White again across from him, Harrison cut up field on a diagonal angle to the right. He was handed off to Rams safety Kamren Curl but had a step by time he crossed the 50.

Then it was off to the races.

Murray rolled right on the bootleg and found Harrison deep. Harrison caught it around the 25 and then, with Curl on him at the 10, leapt from the 4-yard line, used his left hand to keep himself off the ground at the 2 and then put the ball past the goal line.

Harrison ended the first quarter with four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns.
