KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Chiefs got their first regular-season touchdown from an offensive lineman in four years in the third quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Wanya Morris , a reserve, caught a 1-yard scoring pass from Patrick Mahomes to give the Chiefs a 17-16 lead. The Bengals went for a play fake and left Morris uncovered in the end zone.

Eric Fisher was the last Chiefs lineman to score a TD for the Chiefs in 2020. Nick Allegretti later scored one in a playoff game after the 2021 season.

Soon after, the defense came up with a big play on Chamarri Conner 's 38-yard fumble return for a touchdown to give the Chiefs a 23-22 lead, and their advantage stayed that way after they failed on a two-point try.

Joe Burrow was chased out of the pocket by Chris Jones and then sacked by Mike Danna and Tershawn Wharton . The ball came out for Conner's scoop and score.

Earlier in the game, wide receiver Rashee Rice used his speed to pull Kansas City into a 10-10 tie in the second quarter.

Rice went past cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt down the left sideline to haul in a 44-yard touchdown pass from Mahomes.

The play was the second longest of Rice's career. Last year as a rookie, he caught a 67-yard pass, also against the Bengals.
