Philadelphia is coming off a 34-29 win over the Green Bay Packers in the NFL São Paulo game, a contest that saw running back Saquon Barkley reach the end zone three times in his first game with the Eagles.
The Falcons will look to rebound from a flat offensive performance in Week 1 in which they gained only 226 total yards in an 18-10 loss at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers . Kirk Cousins finished 16-for-26 for 155 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs in his Falcons debut, and Bijan Robinson was held to 68 rushing yards on 18 carries.

Eagles -5.5 (-110): While I generally advise underreacting to Week 1, in the case of the Falcons, I think alarm bells are warranted. Kirk Cousins looked like a shell of himself against the Pittsburgh Steelers , and that won't go away in eight short days.
Atlanta's defense was on the field for a ton of plays and got physically worn down by the Steelers' rushing attack -- and now has to handle a better offensive line and better back in Saquon Barkley . Jalen Hurts isn't the runner Justin Fields is, but he will actually present a threat through the air that the Falcons have to respect.
I expect better offensive output by Atlanta, but by only a little -- and not nearly the amount needed to keep pace with this explosive Eagles outfit. -- Ben Solak
Kyle Pitts OVER 3.5 receptions (-130): The Eagles have struggled against receiving tight ends in the past few years given their penchant for fielding sub-average linebacker groups. That sensation should remain this season, as neither undersized Nakobe Dean nor converted edge rusher Zack Baun have the coverage chops to deal with Pitts.
Pitts takes the majority of his routes from the slot, where Green Packers WR Jayden Reed feasted in Week 1 in Brazil, and where another undersized defender in nickelback Avonte Maddox might draw a few coverage reps against him. If we get the expected passing game script for the Falcons, I think Pitts feasts in garbage time. -- Solak
Jalen Hurts UNDER 39.5 rushing yards (-110): I took this in Week 1 and I'm back on it in Week 2. Hurts simply does not rip off explosive plays in the run game anymore. The Eagles use him as a battering ram on the tush push and as a downhill runner on QB draws. He does not get to the boundary easily against NFL speed, and he's sliding far earlier and more often than he did in 2022. We know he's only good for about nine carries, and we know two or three of those will be tush pushes. I'm unconvinced he'll be explosive enough on the remaining six or seven to get to this figure. -- Solak
