I grew up watching movies at the '100 Twin' Drive-In just off 694 in Fridley. In Owatonna it was the '45 Hi-Way Outdoor' (later named the 'Starlite' Drive-In), and Faribault had the 'Family' Drive-In -- all three are long gone. At their peak nearly 80 existed across Minnesota, but that number has shrunk to just five. Here's where to find them.

Corn Is Randomly Growing In Iowa Town Hit By Deadly Tornado
Residents in the town of Greenfield, Iowa are still continuing to pick up the pieces after an EF4 tornado ripped through the center of town on May 21st, 2024. After completing damage assessments across Adams and Adair Counties, including Greenfield, the National Weather Service of Des Moines and survey teams said the damage was consistent with EF4 tornado damage. Wind speeds peaked between 175-185 mph. EF4 damage was located within the community of Greenfield and across rural portions of southern Adair County.
1 Dead After Eastside Sioux Falls Accident
Friday afternoon the Sioux Falls police department reported that a man had died after an accident on East 26th in Sioux Salls. It was nearly 12:30 PM Friday when a 2005 Ford F-350 that was driving eastbound on 26th Street crossed into the westbound traffic and then hit a pole and tree. The accident happened near Village Square Circle on 26th Street.
Northwest Iowa Residents Warned of Armed and Dangerous Suspect
Residents in the northwest county of Pocahontas, Iowa were put on alert this week for an armed and dangerous individual who was believed to still be in the area. According to the Pocahontas, Iowa County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals informed the department of suspect Nathan Edward Nickless who then attempted to serve a federal arrest warrant.
