DSW's Parent Company Launches New Charitable Designer Brands Foundation







The back-to-school season has only just begun, but retailers are already getting a sense for the shoes that will rule this fall.


FN spoke to retail leaders from Nordstrom, Zappos, DSW and Famous Footwear to hear what trends will rule the fall season. Broadly, they said the Western and biker/moto boots trend will carry into fall 2024. And some noted that tall boots and elevated textures like suede and deep colored leather will be defining features as well.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended Alo Yoga’s UK Flagship store opening held on July 31 in London. Sabrina Elba and her stepdaughter Isan Elba also attended the exclusive event.


A lover of neutral footwear silhouettes, Huntington-Whiteley kept consistent in a pair of all-white sandal heels. The summer-ready style featured a strap-heavy construction that wrapped around her ankles and sat atop her toes, securing the heels in place. The ends of the shoe’s ankle straps featured shiny aglets, giving the sandals a welcomed lustrous component.
