City of Estacada seeks public input to shape parks master plan

As the city of Estacada works on its latest parks master plan, they are seeking input from the community about what they like or dislike about existing parks and what they might desire to see from future parks.

With the community constantly growing and new families moving in, the city aims to serve all residents recreational needs for years to come.

Those interested in giving feedback can complete a survey online at tinyurl.com/37yayf43.

The survey includes questions like:

“Please rate the quality of the safety in the city parks.”“What would you like to see installed at the site of the decommissioned water treatment plant?”“How frequently do you visit the parks?” and“Would you visit the parks more frequently if they featured more amenities?” — among others.

The survey also offers an opportunity for participants to share any additional comments or suggestions they might have for the parks department while drafting the new master plan.
