Murder arrest made after hourslong standoff in Portales
PORTALES, N.M. — Police have arrested a man facing a murder charge in Portales. Portales police said 36-year-old Anthony Ortega was arrested after an hourslong standoff on North Avenue M that started on Tuesday evening, July 16.
