TALLAHASSEE, FL (352today.com) – The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is trying to put the brakes on unsafe driving. FDOT in partnership with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) and the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is conducting Operation Southern Slow Down 2024. The week-long speed enforcement and education campaign kicked off on Monday.

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — A Florida man was arrested in New Smyrna Beach Monday morning after police found him locked inside a Walgreens overnight. The New Smyrna Beach Police Department responded to the Walgreens off State Road 44 around 3 a.m. after the store's alarm company notified them a man was locked inside the store.

The allegations were outlandish, but they still shocked Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Julie Marcus when they appeared on a blog in 2022. Clearwater resident Chris Gleason claimed that Pinellas County was “ground zero” for mail ballot fraud that stole the 2020 election from former President Donald Trump, even though Trump won Florida.
