DSA will continue shopping incentive program until end of month
The Downtown Sheridan Association will continue the “Bear with us Shopping Spree” until the beginning of August. While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director of the DSA, Zoila Perry, alerted the public to the continued program that was used during the Sheridan Main Street Resurfacing and Utility Upgrade Project to incentivise people to shop in downtown Sheridan.

Casper, WY July 22nd, 2024 — Three Goshen County residents were recognized for their years of dedication to youth sports at the Wyoming Coaches Association/Wyoming Sports Officials Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Casper last week. Kathy Hamer-Smith was inducted into the Wyoming Sports Officials Association Hall of Fame, and Trisha Bates and Rick Cotant were inducted by the Wyoming Coaches Association.

Green River Arts Council to Host 24 Hour Art Competition on August 16 and 17
The Green River Arts Council and the City of Green River Parks and Recreation Department are excited to host the 19th annual Art on the Green 24 hour live art competition. Professional, semi-professional, amateur/hobbyist and high school artists from around the region compete in 2D and 3D categories and have 24 hours to create their artwork from beginning to end. The competition is held at the Historic Pavilion at Expedition Island, 475 South 2nd East, and begins Friday, August 16 at 11:00 a.m. Contestants have until 11:00 a.m. the next day to complete their work. The public is invited to be firsthand witness of amazing art creations from start to finish.
