UAW and Cornell University Reach a Tentative Agreement
UAW members at Cornell University have reached a historic tentative agreement with the school after almost a week and a half on strike. The agreement includes a record wage increase of 25.4%, a cost of living adjustment, and the elimination of the two-tier wage system. UAW members also secured improvements to their time off policies, uniforms, and inclement weather and safety protocols as a part of the tentative agreement.
