CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Albany County Sheriff’s Office identified the body found at Mirror Lake on July 4 as James Bitner, 56, of Blackhawk, Colorado. Deputies received a report of a deceased individual near Mirror Lake around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, they confirmed the presence of a deceased person, initially referred to as “John Doe.”

BLACKFOOT — Firefighters extinguished a brush fire that ignited along Interstate 15 south of Blackfoot on Wednesday.
