Chesterfield Police ID suspect in weekend stabbing near Ettrick; he faces several charges

ETTRICK − Police have identified the suspect in a Saturday night stabbing at a southern Chesterfield County residence.

Shaun A. Miller, 36, has been charged with felonious assault, burglary and stabbing in the commission of a felony related to the incident, Chesterfield Police said Monday afternoon. He is being held without bond at the Chesterfield County Jail.

Police believe Miller broke into a house around 6 p.m. July 13 in the 20800 block of Shaker Drive. The victim, a male, was stabbed multiple times.

He was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, but police now say he is expected to survive.
