    Blood drive held in honor of fallen Euclid officer

    EUCLID, Ohio (WJW) – The American Red Cross and Cleveland Clinic have partnered together to hold a blood drive in memory of fallen Euclid Police Officer Jacob Derbin .

    The blood drive will be held on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Euclid Hospital’s Waltz Auditorium.

    The 23-year-old officer was killed Saturday, May 11, when responding to a call at a home in the 300 block of East 211th Street just before 10 p.m.

    He was a first-year officer with Euclid police .
