5 Great Places to Catch a Raiders Game This Season

    Football, beer, and food.

It doesn’t get much better than that on a Sunday.

The good news for Henderson residents is that the Raiders are next door.

The bad news is that attending a game in person can sometimes be cost-prohibitive.

Thankfully, Henderson has plenty of options for catching a game. Here are five of them.

    Timbers Bar & Grill

Timbers prides themselves on being a neighborhood bar with friendly service and delicious comfort food.

It’s a great place to eat, drink, and gamble without all the hustle and bustle of the strip. And, of course, it’s also a great place to watch sports.

    Menu

Timbers includes an impressively diverse menu.

    • Breakfast (Served from midnight to noon)
    • Classics (such as wings, nacho and fries)
    • Pizza
    • Salads & Chili
    • Sandwiches
    • Burgers
    • Sliders
    • Desert

Menu items that go great with football:

    • Chicken Wings and Fries ($14.95/22.95)
    • Grilled Chicken Nachos ($16.45)
    • Pepperoni Pizza ($18.95)
    • NY Steak Sandwich ($20.95)
    • Bacon Cheeseburger ($17.95)
    • Western BBQ Sliders ($ 4 for $18.45)

    Gold Mine Tavern

With 8 big-screen TVs, there isn’t a bad seat in the house when the Raiders are playing.

If you feel like visiting on a non-football day, there is happy hour every day and live music every Friday and Saturday night.

They don’t serve food, but their drink menu has something for everyone.

    PT’s Gold

With locations all over the Las Vegas Valley, there is a good chance you’re already familiar with PT’s Taverns.

If you haven’t tried them on a gameday, I highly recommend trying them.

    Menu

If you come during breakfast time, they’ve got you covered.

Their regular menu has everything a sports fan could want.

    • Snacks
    • Wings & Tenders
    • Salads
    • Sliders
    • Pizza
    • Pub Grub

    South Point

Before someone mentions it in the comments, I know that the South Point Casino is technically in Las Vegas, not Henderson. But it’s close enough for this list.

They have big sports books with plenty of screens and comfortable seating. Finding a good spot shouldn’t be hard.

There are plenty of restaurants in the casino to enjoy before or after the game. However, I recommend you go no further than the hot dog cart.

Located directly next to the sports book, one hot dog will only cost you $1.50 (limit 3). That makes South Point a great option for a fan on a budget.

    Your House

There is nothing wrong with watching the game on TV for fans on a budget or who don't want to leave their homes.

For only the cost of beer and some snacks, you can enjoy the game from the comfort of your own home.
