Dressing up in your favorite costume, trick or treating, and carving pumpkins are all timeless traditions.

How about a fun more recently developed tradition?

The City of Henderson has a great one for you and your kids.

Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat is Henderson’s premier safe trick-or-treating event.

For those who aren’t familiar, trunk-or-treat is the same as trick-or-treating, with two differences.

1. It takes place in a closed parking lot.
2. Kids go from trunk to trunk instead of house to house.

This leads to a fun controlled environment for kids and peace of mind for their parents.

So have your kids throw on their favorite costume and follow the trick-or-treat trail from trunk to trunk of festively decorated cars.

Early purchased tickets will be available for pick-up at Black Mountain Recreation Center on October 21–22. Check the times posted on the event night for our costume contest. Children under the age of 3 yrs. are free. Tickets are $5 night of the event. $3 in advance.
