4-star EDGE Justin Hill announces college commitment

When it comes to some of the top recruits in the nation, and you’re going up against the likes of blue bloods such as Alabama and Ohio State, you’re going to win some and you’re going to lose some.

Unfortunately, the Oregon Ducks were unable to get the win on Wednesday, as 4-star EDGE Justin Hill announced his college commitment to the Crimson Tide , choosing them over the Ducks, Buckeyes and USC Trojans .

Standing at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, Hill is rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 4 EDGE in the 2025 class, and No. 58 player overall.

Over the past 10 days, the Ducks have jumped up over 20 spots in the national recruiting rankings after landing a total of five blue-chip prospects, including 5-star CB Dorian Brew. While they were unable to land Hill, there are a number of 5-stars who are currently looking closely and even trending for Oregon, in some cases.
