    Eunice Police: Roadways open for drivers after flooding

    EUNICE, La. ( KLFY ) — Roadways that were closed due to flooding have reopened, the Eunice Police Department announced.

    In an update Sunday evening, Eunice police said Highway 190 and CC Duson have reopened.

    The Eunice Police Department is asking drivers to avoid driving in certain areas near City Hall and the Amy Shopping Center because of flooding.

    In social media posts Sunday afternoon, Eunice police stated the following streets are flooded:

    • N CC Duson Street near Magnolia
    • S CC Duson Street near City Hall
    • Highway 190 in front of Amy Shopping Center

    Eunice police said there are numerous vehicles that are stalled in the area of Highway 190 in front of the shopping center.

    “Please use an alternate route. We are trying to get barricades set up at this time,” Eunice police said in a social media post.
