    East Texas school district welcomes new K9 officer

    EUSTACE, Texas ( KETK ) – Eustace ISD welcomed the newest member of their police department, K9 Pata, on Thursday.

    Marshall City Council approves Airport Park improvements

    Pata is a narcotics detection dog that the school district said will bring several benefits to the community.

    According to a release, Pata will increase and enhance security by detecting illegal substances on school grounds throughout the school year.

    “We believe Pata will be a valuable addition to the Eustace ISD community. We look forward to introducing her in August and utilizing her skills to create a safer learning environment for everyone,” a release said.
