COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Pickleball continues to grow in popularity and now you can play it indoors in Columbia County.

Monday morning, DINK’D Pickleball opened for business in Evans.

It features 9 pro-surface courts and a full kitchen and bar.

The owner, Troy Akers, says now was the perfect time to open up this unique business.

“We’re the first indoor pickleball club in the CSRA. We have an avid Pickleball community, and we’re excited to bring it indoors. I guess it’s a beautiful place, but the weather can be unpredictable, especially given the heat this. This week is a prime example of why we need an indoor facility,” said Troy Akers, Owner of DINK’D

“This place think has it all. We have pickleball. they have a great restaurant here. And there’s a lot of different things for people to do here, including ping pong and just enjoying this great indoor facility,” said Roddy Tojino, DINK’D Member

DINK’D is located in the Petersburg Shoppes plaza on Furys Ferry Road.

This Saturday, July 13th, an open house will be held for the public from 10am until 5pm.
