Two dead after accident on North Fulton in Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Officials with the Evansville Police Department say two people are dead after an accident was reported on North Fulton in Evansville.

Officials say a vehicle was driving northbound on Fulton when two pedestrians attempted to cross the street. Police say the driver struck the pedestrians killing both of them. Officials say the driver was uninjured in the accident.

North Fulton will be closed while officials investigate. The Vanderburgh County Coroner is at the scene.

Police say several calls started coming in around 8:30 p.m. about an accident with injuries. Officials say there are no indicators that drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
