Evansville-based Atlas Van Lines has named a new chief information officer for the company.

Ryan Parmenter, an Atlas employee with over two decades of information technology experience, was chosen for the role.

“Ryan’s 23 years of IT experience with Atlas has significantly elevated our team’s technology and overall logistics," Atlas Van Lines President and COO Ryan McConnell said in a news release. "He’s been a strong asset to our leadership team, and we’re excited about his new role."

Parmenter will oversee IT functions for Atlas World Group and its 10 subsidiaries.

Parmenter originally joined Atlas in 2001 as a software engineer. He has held several different roles in his time with the company. In 2023, he became the vice president of information technology, where he oversaw a strategic committee that focused on Atlas' technological pursuits.
