On Monday evening, an 18 year old was shot at multiple times while on Interstate 465 in Indianapolis. According to ISP, there have been 43 shootings on Indianapolis interstates this year compared to 55 total last year.

“I think if we could pinpoint the reason why, if we knew why the road rage numbers were drastically increasing, I think we could prevent them. But there is no clear indication why these are happening. we just it’s certainly on the rise at an alarming rate.” says Indiana State Police Sergeant, John Perrine. State Police say that drivers need to avoid instigating or even responding to any roadway confrontation.
