Multiple arrests made following two-year drug investigation in Evansville

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Investigators with the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force say an investigation into narcotics trafficking has resulted in multiple arrests this week.

According to an affidavit, EVCDTF began investigating Dionta Goodwin’s trafficking activities throughout Vanderburgh County over the last two years. On July 22, detectives conducted search warrants at residences in the 400 block of south Denby and the 400 block of south Lincoln Park Drive.

During a search of the properties, authorities say they found a large amount of dangerous narcotics, including 259 grams of fentanyl, 2.6 pounds of cocaine and 53 grams of ecstasy. Authorities say they were also able to seize five handguns, two AK-47 rifles, two AR pistols and over $14,000 in cash.

• Dealing cocaine
• Possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon
• Child neglect
• Maintaining a common nuisance

Dionta Goodwin

• Dealing cocaine
• Dealing narcotic (fentanyl)
• Possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon
• Child neglect

Deja Goodwin

• Dealing cocaine
• Dealing narcotic (fentanyl)

Robert Johnson

• Dealing cocaine
• Dealing narcotic (fentanyl)
• Unlawful carrying of a handgun

Zyairh Johnson

• Dealing cocaine
• Dealing narcotic (fentanyl)

Alysha Armstead

• Neglect of a dependent
• Visiting a common nuisance
